Winner: Germany
Group C is absolutely brutal. All four teams would most likely make it out of either Group B or Group D. That's just an insane draw. I think Poland will surprise a few people with their play. They're definitely a program on the rise, and the same goes with Romania.
Portugal is a sexy pick to win it all, mostly because of Ronaldo, and I agree they have the talent to do so, but I just don't see it happening. I'm guessing Vegas would take a decent sized hit though if it does happen because that seems to be where all the money is going.
It should be interesting to see the Italy vs France game after the World Cup finals. It wouldn't surprise me if that game got a little rough, especially is it's close at the end.
Don't sleep on the Czech either. They have a good team and if they're plus money to advance I'll be making a play on that. I see them at +1500 to win it all and I see value in that. I don't think it'll happen, but if they make it to the semis or even the quarters it gives you an opportunity to hedge.
Just over a week till it starts though, so I need to check a few things out soon before I put in my plays.
